Welcome to Sims4CCList.com — a site built for Simmers, by a Simmer. Sims4CCList.com is run by TwistedCat, a longtime Sims 4 player who got tired of scrolling through cluttered download sites, broken links, and CC lists that hadn’t been updated in years. This site exists to fix that: a clean, organized, honestly-written resource for finding the best custom content the Sims 4 community has to offer.
We are a fan-made, independent website. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Electronic Arts (EA) or Maxis. The Sims 4 is a trademark of EA, and we simply love the game and its incredible creator community.
What We Cover
- Curated custom content (CC) lists across clothing, hair, build/buy items, and more
- Aesthetic-specific guides (like coquette, balletcore, cottagecore, Y2K, and other trending styles)
- Practical tips on installing, organizing, and troubleshooting CC
- Spotlights on talented CC creators across Tumblr, Patreon, and CurseForge
Our Approach
Every guide on this site is written with real gameplay in mind. When we recommend CC, we look at:
- How the mesh actually looks in-game, not just in preview renders
- Compatibility with different body presets and CC styles (Maxis Match vs. Alpha)
- File quality, update frequency, and creator reliability
- Whether a piece genuinely fits the aesthetic it’s labeled under
We test what we can, cross-check details before publishing, and update older posts when things change — creators come and go, links break, and the CC scene moves fast. If you ever spot outdated information on this site, we want to know (see our Contact page).
Our Limitations
We’re not the official voice of any CC creator, and we don’t control the content, availability, or terms of use of third-party downloads we link to or mention. Always check each creator’s own terms of use (TOU) before using their content, especially for monetized or public content creation.
Support the Creators
Behind every piece of CC is a real person putting in real hours of work. Wherever possible, we credit original creators and point you toward their official pages. If you enjoy someone’s work, consider supporting them directly through Patreon or their preferred platform.
